Four men have been charged so far in what authorities say was a burglary ring that struck more than 60 businesses in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa.

Sioux Falls Police Captain Greg VandeKamp says three of the four were arrested around 11:00 PM Wednesday after an officer watched a vehicle leave after a break-in at Goldie's Radiator Service, in the 2700 block of West 9th Street.

The vehicle was stopped and the three were arrested, and VandeKamp says they are believed to be part of a string of burglaries in the Tri-State area that date back to May of this year. He says agencies from the three states have been investigating:

VandeKamp says three, all believed to be transients, 29-year-old Nathan Perkins, 21-year-old Dylan Gates and 18-year-old Jared Gates, are facing a long list of charges that include grand theft, burglary and possession of stolen property.

After the three were arrested, police searched a home in Luverne, Minnesota and arrested 25-year-old Travis Hyatt for receiving stolen property.

VandeKamp says the investigation is continuing.
