According to a report by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, longtime journey man catcher A.J. Pierzynski isn't ready to retire just yet as he has signed with the Atlanta Braves pending a physical.





The former Minnesota Twins catcher has spent time with Boston, Texas, San Fransisco, St Louis, Texas and the Chicago White Sox since leaving Minnesota and now can at Atlanta to that list as well.

The 17-year MLB veteran has a career .281 batting average, with 177 home runs and 837 RBIs.

The aging Pierzynski is being brought in to mentor prospect Christian Bethancourt according to multiple media reports.
