The Sioux Falls Multi-Cultural center plays an extraordinarily important role in our ever-growing, ever-changing community. They offer community orientation, English language and life skills classes. They provide translation and immigration services as well as a wide array of adult and youth services programs and they help to educate the rest of us about cultural diversity and its value in our city.

To help support their programs and services, every year they present the Festival of Cultures. Once again this year the Festival of Cultures will be at beautiful Falls Park. The all day event is this Saturday, June 14th  from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Admission and parking are free and so is the wide array of festival entertainment. You'll see singing and dancing from performers from Vietnam, Bosnia and Nepal just to name a few.

The only thing you'll spend money on is whatever delightful delicacies you decide to savor from the numerous food vendors (including Middle Eastern, Cajun and Filipino) and whichever arts, crafts, jewelry, clothing or collectibles you just have to have!

There will also be a special Kids World where children can find lots of fun and educational activities, plus hands-on, make & take projects that teach them about the importance of cultural diversity too, while they're busy just being kids.
