Sensational Smiles is calling kids’ to save their Halloween Candy for the dentistry’s 6th annual Halloween Candy Buy Back Event, November 2nd, 8am-5:30pm, in office (6301 S. MN Ave. Ste 100, Sioux Falls). The practice will pay your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews $1 per lb for their Halloween Candy, which will be shipped in Care Packages to our troops through Operation Gratitude! (Last year, over 230lbs were collected!) In addition, Sensational Smiles will have PRIZES! Bring the children in to enter to win a $30 gift card to Toys-R-Us or $30 in Movie Tickets. Attendees will also receive a balloon and gift from our mascot Sensational Sammie. This is a great experience for everyone and tells the men and women serving our country we are thinking about them.
Since 2003 Operation Gratitude has shipped out over 1 million care packages to our troops. Our Halloween Candy Buy Back -and many like Sensational Smiles’ across the nation- are a vital part of the success of this non-profit program. The candy sold to dentists by kids helps to add a sweet treat to the care packages our troops receive.
Americans will spend about 2 billion dollars on candy this Halloween. That is a lot of sugar your little Trick-or-Treaters are going to be bringing home. While they will have a blast filling their treat bags, consuming such large amounts of sweets is not good for their overall health, not to mention their teeth. Sensational Smiles’ Halloween Candy Buy Back Event is a great way for kids to still enjoy trick-or-treating and learn about sharing with the men and women that serve their country.
Sensational Smiles is a three doctor, (Drs. Mark Berdahl, Jeff Feiock, Adam Swingdorf) family dental practice located at 6301 S. MN. Ave. Ste. 100. Dr. Berdahl obtained the practice in 1987. Since then the practice has grown to three doctors and rebranded to its current name, Sensational Smiles.
