American rock singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge has been rocking since the release of her self-titled, double-platinum debut album. Etheridge will headline Saturday in the Park in Sioux City, Iowa July 6, 2013.

Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, “Yes I Am,” featuring the massive hits “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window,” a searing song of longing that brought her second Best Female Rock Grammy.

Billed as co-headliner with Etheridge are Sublime with Rome.

More than 20 years after forming legendary ska-punk band Sublime, band co-founder/bass player Eric Wilson met another singer/guitarist that would deeply affect his life.

That musician – his junior by nearly two decades – was 20-year-old Rome Ramirez. In Wilson’s own words, “this kid could play guitar like a mofo and he’s got a platinum voice.”

Also on the bill are up and coming blues/soul singer ZZ Ward; SoCal rock/reggae/hip‐hop band The Dirty Heads; plus some dirt-stomping soul from Iowa City, Iowa's Tallgrass.

This annual free festival takes place in Grandview Park in Sioux City, Iowa each summer for over 20 years.
