1963 was the year of 'Talk Back Trembling Lips'.

The artist was a guy out of Huntsville, Alabama named Ernest Ashworth.  Ernie was no 'one-hit-wonder', placing over a half dozen Top 10 hits on the national Country Music charts.

But it was 'Talk Back Trembling Lips' that, well, took Ernie over the top.  Just how big was it?

Well, it wasn't just a #1 hit.  No, it stayed on the charts for an incredible 42 weeks!

Ernie joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1964 and entertained fans from around the world for decades before passing away in 2009 at the age of 80.

And speaking of the Grand Ole Opry, watch and listen to the stars of the Grand Ole Opry (including Ernie) talk about this great Country Classic.
