EmBe is seeking 'Tribute to Women' nominations for the 41st annual awards event to honor outstanding women in the community.  

The event has a rich history, honoring the achievements of over 1000 exceptional women over the last 41 years. 

Nominations are being accepted in the following categories:   Banking and Finance, Education, Executive Leadership, Government and Law, Healthcare and Science, Non Profit and Human Services, Professions, Sales and Marketing, Sylvia Henkin Mentoring Award, and Tomorrow’s Leader.

Last year’s winners were Dr. Annette Bosworth, Kim Burma, Julie Choudek, Allene Flora, Nancy Geffre, Anne Hajek, Shelley Hanisch, Kim Hayes, Melissa Johnson, and Brittany Montecuollo.

Nomination forms may be picked up at EmBe or may be downloaded from www.embe.org .

Nominations must be received by 6pm, March 7

Tribute to Women is sponsored by Avera McKennan and begins on Thursday, April 24 with a 5PM reception in the Washington Pavilion lobby with hors d’oeuvres, live music and a silent auction. The awards program begins in the Great Hall at 7 PM. 

Individual tickets are $55 and sponsorship opportunities are available.

The funds raised from Tribute to Women will provide scholarships for children to participate in camps and sports programs, help working parents obtain safe, affordable childcare and offer young women leaders the tools that they need to set and accomplish personal and professional goals in life.
