CBS Television today is on top of the big broadcast networks heap.  It was that way back in the early 1980’s as Friday nights were the home of the heavy hitters.

Everyone wanted to know who shot J.R. Ewing on “Dallas” and how high the General Lee would fly on “The Dukes of Hazzard.”  One of those pieces of the past is in Brandon for Automania Friday.  Byron Cherry who played the part of Coy Duke is one of the attractions at the event along with plentiful hot rods, motorcycles and music.  Cherry will be signing autographs, especially on anything related to the show.

Byron Cherry Invites People To Bring Dukes Stuff For Him To Sign

Great food, entertainment, music and over 1200 show cars all to be had on Holly Boulevard.  See that 1946 Ford that Cherry is sitting on?  (That’s the one in the photo.)  Bet on it being there.  Thanks to Bernie Tyrrell for bringing Byron back for this year’s show.
