Dreams Really Do True [AUDIO]
Glenn Jorgenson, who created treatment centers in South Dakota to fight alcohol addiction, says a spiritual experience put him on a life long mission. Glenn is a recovering alcoholic.
“I had an offer of a job in Kansas City, but our family was hesitant to move because we didn’t want to leave South Dakota. I vividly recall driving to Rapid City and meditating on what I wanted to do and what I should do. I was asking God for guidance! I’m hesitant sometimes to say this—but there was a presence in the car telling me very clearly what I should do. Instead of taking the job in Kansas City, I was told to stay in Pierre and start the River Park Treatment Program. I immediately turned around and drove back to Pierre. I got the family together and told them we’re going to stay in Pierre and will create treatment centers for alcoholics and addicts.” That’s just what Glenn did!
Glenn Jorgenson is the featured guest on “I Love Life” this week. The program airs daily at 12:50 p.m. on KXRB.
