If ordering a pizza over the phone is too old-fashioned and going to the pizzeria's site seems too involved, have we got news for you.

Domino's is set to introduce new technology which will enable customers to place an order simply by tweeting the pizza emoji.

The new system is set to kick off May 20.

Domino's CEO Patrick Doyle says they want to make this as easy as humanly possible:

It's the epitome of convenience. We've got this down to a five-second exchange."

Of course, it's not as simple as merely tweeting the emoji and waiting 30 minutes for a pizza to magically appear on your doorstep. Users will have to register their Twitter handle with Domino's and state the toppings they like. Then, they can either tweet the emoji or #EasyOrder to Domino's, which will send a message to confirm the order.

With half of all Domino's sales coming digitally, this seems like a natural evolution for the company.

Unless Papa John's can plant a chip in our brains which will result in a pizza at our front door every time we think, "I want a large pepperoni," consider Domino's the latest winner in this round of the pizza wars.
