Dolly Parton Worries About Miley Cyrus As If She Were Her Own Daughter

(AP) - Usually when a woman is named someone's godmother, it's mostly a ceremonial thing.But these days as Miley Cyrus' godmother, Dolly Parton is spending a lot of time taking questions about the pop singer.

Parton says she is worried about Cyrus as if she were her own daughter. But she also has Cyrus' back when it comes to her recent moves to shed her good-girl, "Hanna Montana" image.

Parton says Cyrus is talented and smart - though she acknowledges her goddaughter has gone to "drastic measures" to make sure her fans see her as a grown up, not a child TV star.
