Chances are you watch or at least have heard about the popular TV show "Dancing with the Stars?" A show that pits a group of celebrities, each paired with a professional dance partner against each other in a dance off competition.

That hit celebrity dance show is coming to Sioux Falls again, sort of.

Get ready for the return of "Dancing with the Sioux Falls Stars!"

The local dance competition will benefit NAMI, an organization that offers no-cost education and support programs for the more than 30,000 adults and children in Sioux Falls who live with mental illness, their family members and the general public.

The Dancing with the Sioux Falls Stars event will be held on Saturday, November 5 at The District. This year's competition features a number of high-profile personalities throughout the Sioux Empire, each paired with a local dancing instructor.

The 2016 lineup includes; Rick Anderson from Frontier Bank and his dance partner Glenda Pray from Date Night Dance Company. Sarah Blakely from-KDLT and her partner Thomas Nguyen from LiRa Dance Theater.  Shawn Cable from KSFY and Raena Rasmussen from Balleraena Dance Studio. Nick Luther from Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, along with Tracy Quizon from the Ballroom Dance Club of Sioux Falls. Karla Santi with Blend Interactive and Walter Babb from the Dance Gallery. Ashley Thompson from the Avera McKennan Foundation, along with Jeff Pray from Date Night Dance Company and Nick Wendell from South Dakota State University, along with his dance partner Rebecca Hansen from the Dance Ballroom & Studio.

The executive director of NAMI, Phyllis Arends says, "Last year's event was a dream come true. Every dollar earned from the event goes into support and education programs, and to help spread the word that mental illnesses are no one's fault and that there are resources available."

Not only will this year's event include some amazing dance routines, it also will feature delicious hors d'oeuvres, signature drinks and more. The best part, everything goes to support NAMI Sioux Falls.

General admission tickets have already sold out. Only $75.00 VIP tickets remain. Get more information on Dancing with the Sioux Falls Stars here.
