YANKTON, S.D. (AP) — The Dakota Territorial Museum is offering "Haunted Tours" of various sites across Yankton on Monday and Tuesday nights to highlight the history of the town.

The Yankton Press & Dakotan reports (http://bit.ly/17pIsCf ) that stops on this year's tour include the Yankton Cemetery, LilyCrest Cottage, the I.O.O.F. Building, the bowling alley and the Mead Building on the Human Services Center campus.

Museum assistant director Heidi Henson says the tour provides a chance to get to know the town's haunted side and also gives an opportunity to learn about the community. The tours are an annual fundraiser for the museum.

Henson says the 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. tours are sold out both nights, but people can show up 15 minutes early in case there are no-shows.
