Last weekend, Craig Morgan hosted his 6th annual Charity Motocross Ride, Concert and Sporting Clay Shoot just outside of Nashville, and the event was once again a huge success. Over $70,000 was raised for the Craig Morgan Charity Fund, a component fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Combined with the funds raised over the last few years, Morgan has tallied up a total of $250,000 for the organization, which benefits foster children in Dickson County and throughout Middle Tennessee.

“Year-after-year, I am blown away by the support for this event from our celebrity friends, and the Dickson and Middle Tennessee communities,” says Morgan. “I am so proud of the amount of money raised to help the children and families in this area, and am already looking forward to our 7th annual event next summer.”

The event vegan with the motocross ride, where names like Destry Abbott, Fred Andrews, Cowboy Kenny Bartram, Randy Hawkins, Kevin Windham and Bucky Covington thrilled spectators with the exhibition and trail ride in Vanleer, Tenn. Later that night, Darryl Worley, TV host/singer Robin Meade and the evening’s emcee, GAC host and TV personality Nan Kelley, performed for a packed house alongside Morgan to support the Craig Morgan Charity Fund. The evening’s silent auction was a huge success — a hunting trip with Morgan went for over $6,000. On the second day of the festivities, the “Ultimate Shooter” Tim Bradley showed off his skills as a part of the popular Celebrity Sporting Clays Event.

Morgan’s ultimate goal for his charity is to raise enough money to build Billy’s Place, a warm and welcoming home for temporarily displaced children. For more information on the cause, or to learn how you can donate to the organization, click here.
