Vending machines sell everything from candy, to soft drinks, to feminine products, to crack pipes. Yes ... crack pipes. If you live in Canada, that is. Maybe the weirdest part of the story is that there hasn't been much opposition to the machine!

Vancouver is a test market for a new campaign to get drug users to use clean products when using their drugs.

A non-profit has set up vending machines which dispense new, clean Pyrex crack pipes for 25 cents (crack not included) to slow the spread of infections such as HIV and Hepatitis, which can come from sharing pipes, and to give them a sturdier pipe that won't chip, crack and break, causing mouth cuts and infection.

Maybe the most surprising fact? That Vancouver is the test market and not Toronto, home of crack smoking mayor Rob Ford!
