Couple Robbed Outside Sioux Falls Inn

Police say three men robbed a man and woman Friday night outside a motel on West Russell Street in Sioux Falls.

Officer Sam Clemens says the man and woman were talking just before 9 p.m. outside the Sioux Falls Inn, at 1300 West Russell, when three men began running toward them:

Clemens says one of the assailants was described as a black male in his mid-to-late 20s, six feet tall, and the only description for the other two was that they have been black or Native American males. They drove off in a white Cadillac.

The male victim was taken to a hospital, but Clemens says his injuries were not serious.
