Most of us country music fan's were introduced to the great baritone voice of Trace Adkins back in 1996 with 'Every Light In The House Is On', hist first Top Five national hit.

Trace followed that up in '97 with his first chart topper '(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing' and the rest, as they say, is history. Though my personal favorite is the moving 'Arlington' from 2005, it was that same year that Trace had everybody crankin' up the radio with his 'Honky Tonk Badonkadonk'. Trace's last number one was some eight years ago with 'You're Gonna Miss This', but now Trace is back with a new single and a soon-to-be released album.

The song is called 'Jesus and Jones, and according to Trace  "This is a song that's auto-biographical. The first thing I ever did behind a microphone was singing bass in a gospel quartet. At the same time, I was playing guitar and singing in honky tonks, so, that's when the struggle began…the wrestling match between 'Jesus' and 'Jones' and I still struggle with that."

Give it a listen and let's welcome back Trace Adkins to the high spots on the country music chart!
