Country Legend Earl Scruggs Banjo Going To The Hall Of Fame

(AP) – Earl Scruggs‘ banjo is going to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

His Gibson RB-Granada Mastertone will be on display as part of the museum’s “Precious Jewels” display beginning July 12. It was Scruggs’ primary instrument.

It will be shown along with instruments played by Mother Maybelle Carter, Lester Flatt, Bill Monroe, Jimmie Rodgers and Hank Williams
