SiouxperCon 2016 is Friday, Saturday and Sunday; April 15, 16 and 17 at the Best Western Ramkota in Sioux Falls. There's so much going on starting with the video game tournament Friday night. Plus, there's going to be vendors, booths, panels, movies, cosplay and so much more.

Here's some highlights and details:

Just because it's not Halloween doesn't mean you can't dress up. Cosplay is a huge part of any convention, and it will be at SiouxperCon too. The SiouxperCon folks say that cosplayers that have already preregistered for the cosplay competition need to check your emails for some important info. If you haven't registered for the competition, you still can at Siouxpercon.com/cosplay-competition-signup. Any questions, contact staff@siouxpercon.com.

One of the panels on Saturday will feature playwright and novelist Stefanie DeLeo who'll be talking about publishing fan fiction and publishing. DeLeo's first play, Worth a Thousand Words, addresses themes of art as a means of communication seen through the lens of an autistic child. Her novel Cry My Safari explores racism and economic inequalities and was inspired by a trip to Kenya. Deleo will be in Conference Room 1 at 2:00PM on Saturday, April 16th.
