Making a visit and a donation to The Western Mall Christmas for Make-a-Wish South Dakota has become a holiday tradition for a number of people and families throughout Sioux Falls.

Look no further than the $22,412 that was raised for Make-a-Wish South Dakota, thanks to all the visitors who attended this years Christmas musical light show.

The money raised this year, helps bring the show's nine-year total to over $209,000!

All that money is used to help grant wishes to seriously ill children in and around the Sioux Empire.

Make-a-Wish president Paul Krueger said, "We hope that people really enjoyed the show and we give thanks for their generosity to help us and we hope that they will tell others about the show that maybe have never heard of it before and they will come out next year and do the same thing and make it a great year next year as well."

The Christmas at the Western Mall light show runs nightly Thanksgiving through New Year's Day each holiday season in the center court of the Western Mall in Sioux Falls.
