Christian Ponder will have another opportunity next Sunday to start after a solid performance yesterday despite the tie against Green Bay.

The third-year quarterback was 21-of-30 for 233 yards with one touchdown, and no interceptions against the Packers. Ponder was turnover-free for a second time in 2013, had a 103.9 quarterback rating and was sacked six times by the Packers.

Head coach Leslie Frazier told ESPN 1500, "I don't know any reason Ponder wouldn't start. I don't know if that would be helping our football team by making a change."

Ponder will make his ninth start on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
