Charlie Daniels ‘Ragged Old Flag’
It was in 1974 that the legendary 'Man In Black', Johnny Cash, released 'Ragged Old Flag'. The recitation song is still heard on radio stations around the country, particularly right around the 4th of July. It's one of those classics, whether country or rock, pop or easy listening (or any other kind of music) that just won't fade away.
And now it's back in a new version, and vision. Another Country Music Hall of Fame member, Charlie Daniels, has released 'Ragged Old Flag', and though the song is now well over 40 years old, it somehow still feels as relevant today as it did back in 1974.
