LAKE ANDES, S.D. (AP) — Two inmates are accused of starting a small fire in the Charles Mix County Jail.

Authorities say the inmates started a piece of tissue paper on fire on Dec. 11 by using wires located behind a television in a jail cell block.

A deputy found burned tissue paper behind the TV and in a cell. No injuries were reported.

The Daily Republic reports that the inmates face a felony fire charge that carries a maximum punishment of two years in prison and a $4,000 fine.
