At the NAFB National Convention in Kansas City we met with Morgan Dugan, the Channel Brand Lead. We talked on seed for the grain producer.

I asked him to tell us the difference between a 'seedsman' and a 'salesman.' He made it clear that, 'A seedsman is a dedicated ag professional who focuses on seed first.'

He further explained that a seedsman, 'Will spend time learning agronomic, they're going to spend time learning the products and then they are going to go out and work with the farmer, learn their farm and then put all three together.'

A salesman is different from what Morgan described. A seedsman is also a person that will be with you all year long.
