Report: Oakland to Leave Summit League for Horizon League
If reports out of the Detroit area are true, the Summit League will be losing two schools this off-season. Kansas City has already announced plans to join the Western Athletic Conference next year, and now the Detroit Free Press is reporting that Oakland will officially announce tomorrow that they are heading for the Horizon League
Augustana Softball Gets Minnesota State in NCAA Central Regional
The Augustana softball team will open NCAA Division II Central Region play Friday at 11am, against fellow Northern Sun Conference member Minnesota State in Mankato.
The Vikings are the sixth seed in the double elimination event, which also features Winona State and Southeastern Oklahoma
