Car Windows Blown Out by BB Gun Shooting Spree in Sioux Falls

More reports of vehicle windows being shot out by BB guns continue to be reported to Sioux Falls police.

Since Sunday May 8, 2016, 39 reports have been filed and more continue to come in.  Officer Sam Clemens describes the two areas of town hit hardest as being North of I-90 and the Rice Street and Cliff Avenue area.

A witness saw a suspect vehicle Monday (May 9, 2016) night.  The woman at Riverdale park saw an older green minivan.  It was the only vehicle around, she heard a noise and her windows were shot out.

Clemens says they anticipate 60 to 80 calls total from the vandalism spree.  The majority of cars shot at were parked on the street.  An estimated total damage at this point is $12,000.

Several homes nearby have surveillance video which are being reviewed by Police.
