Bret Michaels, longtime lead singer of Poison and one of the hardest working men in rock and roll, is coming to the Upper Midwest this fall.

Michaels is bringing his high energy solo show to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Sioux City, Friday, November 6. Tickets for the show at Anthem go on sale Friday, August 28 at 10:00 AM.

While Michaels fronted Poison, the band sold more than 45 million records worldwide and 15 million records in the United States alone. They also put ten singles in the Top 40, including six in the Top Ten, and had a number-one song, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", for three weeks at the end of 1988 and the beginning of 1989.

As a solo artist, Michaels has released five albums. The most successful was 2010's Custom Built, which cracked the Top 15 on the album chart.

Away from music, Michaels has made a name for himself on reality TV; first with his dating show "Rock of Love" on VH1, and most recently, as the winner of the third season of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" in 2010.

Michaels also has a line of pet clothing and accessories called "Pets Rock", and a home decor and lifestlye collection called "Live Bret Michaels".
