After playing in Europe for the first time, Brantley Gilbert came back with a passion for making his music global, discovering that the message of music can make it a small world after all.

The ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year explains what sparked his interest in touring with his passport, saying to GAC TV, “When somebody that I really respected and looked up to came to me and said that one of my songs had made a difference in his life, and helped him understand some situations he’s going through in his life, it really set in for me that there could be a message in what I do through writing songs and performing songs."

Gilbert continues, “So I’ll take that anywhere. Even if they don’t speak English, they can get a translator to tell them what the words say. I could care less as long as they get the message and they dig it, I’m all about it.” Sounds like he wants to see 'More Than Miles' in his rear-view mirror -- the fast-rising star wants to see lives changed due to the songs he sings.

The 'Halfway to Heaven' hitmaker may have to bring his soon-to-be wife and fellow country artist, Jana Kramer, along for the ride if he decides to continue his worldwide travels. For now, he's getting ready to tour with the iconic Tim McGraw on his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour in May.
