Brandon Woman, Sioux Falls Man Arrested in Prostitution Case

A Brandon woman and a Sioux Falls man are the latest suspects arrested in prostitution cases in Sioux Falls.

Officer Sam Clemens says the arrests were made Saturday night after officers in the Police Department's Street Crimes Unit saw an online ad.

He says arrangements were made to meet the woman in an apartment in the southwest part odf the city, and during the process ;police learned that a pimp might be involved.

Clemens says Amy Nicole Burkhart, 33, of Brandon was arrested for prostitution and Jermayne Tyson Montgomery, 40, of Sioux Falls was arrested at a downtown location and charged with pimping and promoting prostitution.
