Brad Paisley has postponed a planned concert in Kentucky due to the terrible winter storms that have swept through much of the United States.

Paisley was slated to perform at Corbin Arena in Corbin, Ky., on Saturday (Jan. 23) as part of his 2016 Crushin' It World Tour. In a post to his official website on Thursday (Jan. 21), the "Country Nation" singer broke the news that the gig would have to be moved to another date due to the ferocious winter weather.

Brad Paisley’s Saturday, January 23rd “Crushin’ It World Tour” performance at Corbin Arena has been postponed for the safety of all fans and all personnel involved. This postponement is among dozens of expected cancellations of shows, classes, church services and more because of the winter storm approaching Corbin. Refunds will be available at the original point of purchase.

No projected makeup date for Paisley's performance in Corbin has yet been announced.

According to NBC News, the "potentially historic snowstorm" that is sweeping the U.S. is expected to turn into a blizzard by the time it reaches the eastern part of the country, where it could bury a number of major cities under two feet of snow. The storm is projected to bring snow to at least 15 states and could last until Sunday evening (Jan. 24). Various winter weather warnings, advisories and watches are in effect for more than 20 states, affecting more than 85 million people.

Garth Brooks has also seen his concert schedule impacted by the snow. He has postponed his shows that were scheduled for Friday (Jan. 22) and Saturday (Jan. 23) in Baltimore.
