Brad Keselowski turned it on late in the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the victory on Sunday. Keselowski passed Kyle Busch with five laps to go.

He then drove his Team Penske Ford to beat Joey Logano to the checkered flag. It was Keselowski's first Sprint Cup Series victory of the season.

Jimmie Johnson was third, and Busch had to settle for fourth after struggling with a right front wheel issue down the stretch. Austin Dillon came across fifth.

Keselowski overcame every possible obstacle thrown at him. Weather was a big factor in the race from start to finish.

Rain delayed the start of the race, and high winds and a late-race dust storm made visibility a challenge, but the bizarre conditions left Keselowski undeterred.

Nor did a pit road speeding penalty under caution on lap 180 prove catastrophic, thanks to a series of astute pit calls by crew chief Paul Wolfe.

Relative to the field, Keselowski picked up speed toward the end of a run with a car that was eminently maneuverable.

Next race is Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway with the Good Sam 500. Listen to the live coverage on AM 1000 KXRB starting at 1:30 PM.
