Bond Set for Rapid City Man in Big South Dakota Drug Bust
RAPID CITY – A South Dakota judge has set bond at $75,000 for a Virginia man accused of hauling 24 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of his rental car.
A South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper stopped 28-year-old Tam Hoang Nguyen (wihn) for speeding eight miles east of Rapid City on Sunday.
The Rapid City Journal reports that Nguyen allowed the trooper to search the car, and denied having any knowledge of the drugs found in the trunk.
