One of the biggest hit TV game shows of all-time, "The Price Is Right",  is getting ready to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Bob Barker hosted the show for 35 of those years and in my opinion, hands down made the show famous.

Now as the word comes out that he wasn't even invited by the show to make a special appearance on the milestone program, I am shocked. I feel that this is totally disrespectful to the legendary host.

There were many times I would stop what I was doing and watch the show due to Bob's personality. Not because of the prize or the contestant, but to admire how Bob handled every situation to just make you feel good no matter if the prize was won or not. He somehow made you feel like it was you competing on the show.

The current host Drew Carey feels bad about the situation. I think he does a fabulous job and is the man to replace the legendary Barker. But how can the show not include the man who put them on the map and made them famous?

Bob Barker's last appearance on the show was in 2009. The last time he hosted was in 2007.
