Blake Shelton may just be the recipient of a famous orange blimp this year: He's been nominated for Favorite Male Vocalist at Nickelodeon's 2016 Kids' Choice Awards.

The Kids' Choice Awards celebrate everything in pop culture, from movies to music, gaming to books and more. Shelton is competing for Favorite Male Vocalist against Drake, Ed SheeranJustin Bieber, Nick Jonas and the Weeknd. Other nominees this year include Adele, Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Chris Pratt and many, many more.

Shelton will be a busy man the evening of the 2016 KCAs: He's also hosting the annual slime-filled awards show this year.

"The nominees are out now, and I can’t wait to see who wins," Shelton says. "We’ve got categories for everybody -- TV, movies, video games, actors, singers, everything you can think of. It’s all in there. Make sure you get out there and vote, and we’ll see you at the show.”

Fans can cast their votes for the 2016 Kids' Choice Awards across 22 categories on Nickelodeon’s digital platforms, including Nick.com and the Nick app for iPad, iPhone, Kindle and select Android devices. Users will also be able to vote on Nickelodeon’s Twitter feed using #KCA and the hashtag of their favorite nominee.

Shelton's no stranger to the television spotlight: He's a coach on The Voice and hosted the ACM Awards with Luke Bryan before passing the duty on to Dierks Bentley for this year.

The country superstar is also readying a new album, largely influenced by his divorce from Miranda Lambert.

“I’ve written more than I’ve written in 15 years, for obvious reasons — all the awful things that have happened in my personal life ...” Shelton explains. “I want to get it out there. It’s driving me nuts to not be already into that project because it’s all I’m thinking about.”

The 2016 Kids' Choice Awards are set to place in Inglewood, Calif., on March 12. They will air live on Nickelodeon beginning at 8PM ET.
