BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. (AP) - The Black Hills city of Belle Fourche is hosting a Professional Roughstock Series rodeo this weekend.

The Black Hills Pioneer reports that the Black Hills Classic kicks off at the Roundup Grounds Rodeo Arena at 8 p.m. Friday. It's the third consecutive year that Belle Fourche has hosted the event.

Some of the country's top professional riders will compete in bull riding, bareback bronc riding and saddle bronc events.

It's the tenth stop in the 13-site nationally televised tour, and the only one which the events are being held outside.

PRS President Spud Whitman says the caliber of athletes is like a who's who.
