Barry Nelson of John Deere Talks about the Future

At the National NAFB Convention in Kansas City, we visited with the folks from John Deere. They had a number of people available.

One person we talked with was Barry Nelson. He is the manager of media relations for the company.

Barry informed us of the acquisition of two new companies by John Deere. He said, "We have bought one of the leading planter companies."

Barry added, "It will help us extend our planter line-up globally." He continued to tell us, "We additionally acquired Precision Planting, which also extends what we are doing in planter technology."

Barry also explained what John Deere is looking at with all the new technology. He also gave us a positive look at the decades to come.
