Just by mentioning the words Book Fair at Sioux Falls Barnes & Noble this Saturday, Siouxland Libraries win.

There's not a week goes by that I'm not in Barnes & Noble in Sioux Falls.  And my friend Dan, if he needs to hide from his wife and escape the kids he's there too.

Barnes & Noble will host a book fair benefiting Siouxland Libraries on Saturday, May 3, 2014. From 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. when a customer mentions the book fair at the register, a portion of the sale will be donated to Siouxland Libraries.

In conjunction with the Saturday book fair, Siouxland Libraries will provide a variety of fun, free activities at Barnes & Noble, 3700 West 41st Street. Two special story times featuring Clifford the Big Red Dog by Norman Bridwell will begin at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Following each story time, children can meet Clifford and have their pictures taken with him. Children can have their faces painted in the afternoon. Library staff will be on hand to answer questions about eBooks and help people sign up for library cards.

The book fair is also available online at bn.com from May 3 to May 8 by entering Bookfair ID No. 11287562 at purchase.
