‘Automania’ In Brandon Friday
It’s time for Automania, the largest free car show in the Midwest. And it’s in Brandon, South Dakota. Automania 2013 kicks off the summer with its Main Event on Friday. Showtime will run from 3pm to 11pm, on the “Automania Blvd.”,located on Holly Blvd., beginning at Sioux Blvd. (Casey’s General Store) and running east on Holly Blvd. to Splitrock Blvd. (Hwy. 11).
It’s a free, fun, family event. Brandon is the perfect setting for a car show of this magnitude with plenty of gracious parking for well over a thousand muscle cars, hot rods, sports cars, classics and motorcycles to converge bringing the nostalgic awareness alive! Automania historically attracts show registrants and spectators of over fifty thousand and Brandon offers tons of parking and space to relax and enjoy the show!
Join Automania Friday, June 28th and be prepared to be dazzled by millions of dollars worth of rare and classic vehicles from all across the United States, Canada, even two huge dirt-eating crawlers from Guam! Enjoy the beach party music of live Rock ‘n’ Roll bands like ‘The Surfaris’ performing their smash hit ‘Wipe Out’ and many others at the ‘Kahuna Beach Party,’ plus several more bands throughout the event.
Meet Richard Rawlings & Aaron Kaufman from the Discovery Channel’s hit TV show ‘Fast n’ Loud.’ Richard owns a mechanic shop in Dallas, Texas called the ‘Gas Monkey Garage,’ there he and Aaron find diamonds in the rough around the country, customize them into works of art and take them to auction. They never have a dull moment!
Another special guest to meet is Byron Cherry ‘Coy Duke’ of the ‘Duke’s of Hazzard’ TV show, along with many famous and nationally recognized vehicles.
