SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — The court-ordered trustee who is overseeing the largest personal bankruptcy in South Dakota history has settled allegations that friends and family helped debtor Kent Vucurevich hide assets from creditors seeking as much as $70 million.
As construction on the new Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls continues, the city is already looking to make sure the operation is making money. The Legend Sales & Marketing company has been retained to sell sponsorship rights throughout the center.
Opponents of a new Walmart in Sioux Falls have sued the city in an attempt to stop the new store from being built. The group - Save Our Neighborhood - says that the proposed store was illegally annexed into the city limits.
