I grew up in Clear Lake, South Dakota. The 60’s and 70’s exposed me to some legendary country music. I continued my appreciation for country music thru the 80’s, 90’s and up to present day. And I've spent a great deal of time studying it. When I sit down to do the KXRB Morning Show each day, I have a library of music that is like nothing else in the world. I have songs spanning over seven decades to play and talk about. Hosting the show is not a job, it’s a thrill. On the personal side, I’m blessed with a wonderful family with my wife Lorlane and son Mark Jr. We enjoy spending time together with movies, cooking, dining out, traveling, biking, playing baseball, fishing once in a while, and whatever else we feel like doing together.
