Following yesterday's news from Fox that 'Wolverine 3' will be released in 2017, following 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' we now have even more news about the upcoming 'Wolverine' sequel, which seems to be picking up steam pretty quickly even though its release is still a few years away: Hugh Jackman will indeed return as your favorite Canadian mutant, and David James Kelly will be providing the script for the newest installment.
On the heels of the first new trailer for HBO's third season of 'Veep,' we've got a brand new trailer for the upcoming season of the hilarious series, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus returning as Selina Meyer, everyone's favorite Vice President. And this time around, with the President declining to run for a second term, it looks like it's Selina's time to make a run for the Oval Office -- but she may need to trim the fat, first. That's where new recurring star Diedrich Bader comes in.
With 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' set to hit theaters in just under two months, director Marc Webb has been one rather busy gentleman. In addition to promoting the new film, Webb is also preparing to go back to work for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 3,' which will hit theaters in 2016 -- but for fans hoping that the director will stick around for the fourth film, we've got some news: Webb will sadly not be returning to the director's chair after Spidey's third installment.
A pleasant surprise for your weekend: 20th Century Fox has unleashed a ton of new images from 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' including a few behind the scenes photos from the upcoming sequel to 'First Class.' The 2014 SAG Awards winners were revealed on January 18 during the ceremony hosted on TNT, with presenters including Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Tina Fey, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy Renner, and many more. Unlike the Oscars, the Screen Actors Guild Awards acknowledge both film and television -- and unlike the Golden Globes, they recognize ensemble casts in addition to individual performances. They even include a category honoring stuntmen and women for their action performances in film and television. Read on for the nominees and winners of the 2014 SAG Awards!
Dave Madden, beloved star of the classic television series 'The Partridge Family,' has passed away at the age of 83. Madden played the role of the family's oft put-upon band manager Reuben Kincaid, who often was annoyed by the shenanigans of young Danny, played by former child star Danny Bonaduce. Madden was also the star of the '70s show 'Laugh-In.'
Here's some pretty big news for Golden Globes weekend: Quentin Tarantino has apparently finished the script for his upcoming western film, which is reportedly titled 'The Hateful Eight,' and, if the rumors are true, he's already eyeing actors for two of the lead roles: Christoph Waltz (which would make sense), and Bruce Dern (which would make us so, so happy).
It brings us great sadness to report this news on the first day of the New Year -- James Avery, the beloved actor who portrayed Uncle Phil on the hit '90s sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,' has passed away at the age of 68. Avery, who passed away late last night in Los Angeles, was an actor known for his warmth, and continued to appear on many TV shows over the years after 'Fresh Prince' concluded.
Released in 1988, 'Scrooged' was a darkly comedic take on Charles Dickens' classic 'A Christmas Carol,' starring Bill Murray in the Ebenezer Scrooge role as Frank Cross, a cynical TV executive alienated from his family and unable to find real happiness. Struggling to put together a live production of 'A Christmas Carol' on Christmas Eve, Frank finds that his real life begins to resemble the story he's producing as three ghosts visit him throughout the evening to try and get him to change his ways before it's too late.
The film took Murray from battling ghosts in 'Ghostbusters' to learning lessons from them, and over time it's become a holiday comedy classic. 25 years later, we take a look back at the cast of the film and see where they are now.
