It's been cold. Real cold. Bitter cold. Some might say miserably cold. And with the dropping temperatures, one of the things going up is the price of natural gas.

NBC Dallas says the cold 'snap' is increasing demand for heating...not only for us here in the Upper Midwest, but over to the Northeast and even in the usually relatively warm Deep South. And with a cold 'snap' that size, well, it's going to cost a little more for many to stay warm.

Analyst's say there's more than cold weather that can drive prices higher, things like inventory and imports/exports.

But suffice to say the (Bitter? Miserable?) cold doesn't help. In the meantime, keep a stiff upper lip...

April, May, June...they can't be far off!
