Authorities are still looking for leads to help them track down the suspects involved in an armed robbery which happened early Friday evening in Sioux Falls.

KDLT News is reporting the incident took place around 8:20 PM (August 4) in the neighborhood of Whittier Middle School.

The report states, three African American males, ranging in age from 18 to 21 years old, with slender-to-medium builds approached a Sioux Falls resident near the intersection of North Sherman Avenue and East 4th Street. The three suspects all displayed handguns and ordered the victim to hand over everything of value that he had on him.

KDLT News reports that money, a cell phone, and wallet were taken from the victim. The suspects immediately fled the scene of the robbery in a dark-colored four-door sedan, that was traveling east on East 4th Street.

Currently, there are no descriptions of the three suspects, other than one of the men had a distinct hair style with the sides of his head shaved and blonde colored tips on his hair according to KDLT News.
