Early detection matters when it comes to skin cancer.

That’s why some of the Dermatologists in the area are helping raise awareness for melanoma and other types of skin cancer with free screenings on Monday, May 1.

The screenings are open to people who have not been screened for skin cancer within the past two years and have not seen a dermatologist for the past year.

The screenings will run from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Lewis Southgate, located at 41st Street & Minnesota Avenue.

Pre-registration is required. To register, call 1-877-282-8372.

Providers from Sanford Dermatology, Avera Dermatology and Dakota Dermatology will conduct the screenings.
