More than one-third of American workers surveyed reported they felt bullied in the workplace. That's according to CareerBuilder, a Chicago-based human resources company. That is a higher number than last year's measurement of 27 percent.

48 percent of those who said they were bullied identified bosses as the culprits and 45 percent said co-workers. 16 percent of those surveyed said the bullying caused them health problems, and 17 percent said it caused them to quit their jobs.

What do you do if you feel like a victim? Very importantly, cite specific incidents. Then address the situation with the bully or a company authority and keep focused on finding a resolution.
