When it comes to traffic violations, any guess which car receives the most tickets?  Insurance.com recently did a study on that very subject.

Researchers found more than one-in-three drivers of the Subaru WRX has had a recent traffic violation.  The Scion, however, was the car brand with the most violations.

According to Karl Brauer, Senior Analyst at Kelley Blue Book, the number of violations may have more to do with the age of the drivers.

“These cars all appeal to a younger demographic, and many of them skew heavily male.  Of course, young male drivers typically take the most risks and garner the most tickets, or are involved in the most accidents.”

Brauer goes on to say speed isn't the only issue. The Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper and Nissan GT-R all rank well below average for tickets, even though they can easily double the highest speed limits posted.

“Those cars are all costly, so their buyers tend to be older and take fewer risks.”

Following is the list of cars receiving the most violations.
