American Flags to Be Flown at Half-Staff This Sunday

If you fly the American Flag at your home, be advised that President Trump has ordered it be flown at half-staff on Sunday, (October 8).

KSFY TV is reporting the President's request comes in accordance with the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.

According to KSFY, the President has proclaimed the week of October 8-14 as fire prevention week.

To honor the President's wishes, Governor Dennis Daugaard is asking that all state and private residence flags be flown at half-mast on Sunday from 8AM until sunset.
