Just in time for the back to school party season, new research suggests alcohol use among younger people is particularly risky.

A new study found women who have just one drink a day between their first period and their first pregnancy may be raising their risk of breast cancer by up to 13%.

Researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis also found that every additional shot, beer or glass of wine daily, raises the risk by 15%.

They warn,

More and more heavy drinking is occurring on college campuses and during adolescence, and not enough people are considering future risk.
