It seems like there is no end in sight for the cold temperatures!  Add to those cold temperatures a chance of some light snow....AGAIN....and I just can't get myself to stop thinking (and dreaming!) about what I will be doing this summer.

Everyone has ideas and makes plans about what they are going to do when summertime finally gets here.  The one thing I didn't get to do enough of last summer, was spend some quality time at my parents' cabin.

Ten years ago, my parents decided it was time to "stop dragging that camper around" and find someplace a little more settled.  They purchased a cabin on Clear Lake in Marshall County in the northeast part of South Dakota, plopped the boat and pontoon in the water and "called it good".

Thinking about relaxing and having fun on that beautiful lake, makes me think that it might be a good idea to drag out the water skis and floaties this summer.  Which is why I've chosen Alan Jackson's 'Chattahoochee' for my Throwback Thursday pick.

Thanks to Alan Jackson for making waterskiing in a cowboy hat, ripped-up jeans and of course, those red and white cowboy boots, look cool.

Released in May, 1993, 'Chattahoochee' is the third single from his album A Lot About Livin' (And a Little 'bout Love).  'Chattahoochee' also received CMA awards for Single of the Year and Song of the Year.

And just for the record....I probably won't be able to walk for about a week after my first attempt on those skis!
