Alan Goldsby Speaking To Corn Producers

Alan Goldsby, Product Manager for CHS, talked with us in Kansas City, Missouri at the 2014 NAFB Convention.

We discussed corn farming issues. Fertilizer supply and demand was the main topic.

Alan says everything looks good for 2015 supply.

I asked the question of what he sees on the horizon. His answer was, 'We are looking for a big crop next year. I feel it will be between 86 and 87 million acres.'

When I asked him if he had a specific message to the farmers in our area, he said, 'The key thing is to communicate with your local supplier.'
